First to explain why I write this article. I have been betting on the internet or at land based casinos for many years. I have discovered, the dependency can take a hold of you and you will not even notice it until you are penniless. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I’ve gone through many thousands of dollars in only a short period of time and still on occasion, I will go too far. It seems you’re just having a blast until you start to track your defeats and the anguish sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" repeatedly. It does not works. Then you feel sick in your stomach and the more you try the faster you lose.
When you see that you are up, STAY on the UP! When you start to lose, do not say to yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and over and over again, believe me, this method hardly ever works. Say you are playing on slots, have an amount set to the side before starting your action. Don’t exceed that boundary, no matter how alluring. If you happen to win, put that in a different cup. Don’t use your profits no matter what. As soon as you have gone through your original set limit, stop. Head out, regardless if it is online or at a land based casino, do not stay around. Always remember, there is going to be another day, another time.
Remember, gambling should be FUN not exhausting, sickening work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan not manage the loss, do not even start.
